Don't worry about actually putting this through the hole in the door in front of you - just leave it on the floor where anyone that walks past can nick it!

Oh and don't worry about ringing the bell either! I suppose we'll find it sooner or later. If no one nicks it. No wonder xmas post is slow - the lazy bastards!

Kelly - you'll be pleased (?) to hear that THIS is the last of your presents to arrive - I'll post them to you tomorrow and you should find them outside your house somewhere in 2006, if this is anything to go by!

You get into our house by going through a door into an alleyway, then the house's front door is a bit further back - and the post box is on thet door on the street.

So what does the postie do with things that don't fit? He throws them over the door. I thought this was a great idea first time he did it - it was just a t shirt in a jiffy bag - but he's since done it with a parcel from Amazon (slightly damaging one of the books in the process), and a baby tree in a poster tube (which was fairly obvious, because there were stickers on the outside to say what it was)

I checked my confirmation email and the company I purchased from claim to have sent this via DHL.....our regular DHL guy is wicked and would never do this (he's always v friendly!), so I emailed the company who sent this to me with photos of where the package was left suggesting they use a different courier in future!

Xmas rush or not - there's no excuse for leaving stuff out like that!
