At sunset, millions of starlings from all over the south of England arrive to roost in the reeds of the Somerset Wetlands. To call it a flock would understate it. It was a swarm of starlings and the noise was incredible.
These images were taken between 4pm and 5pm on 28th December 2005 on my Sony DSC-P92 at Westhay, Somerset, England.
