Green and Blacks

Went to the cinema tonight and took along some very nice chocolate.
It had ginger in it, I placed small chunks in my mouth and let them
melt, leaving only ginger...... it was really very tasty. After about
twenty minutes I started to get quite buzzy and fidgeted more than
normal (which is a lot). I now have something akin to a caffeine buzz
which I suppose makes sense seeing as though there is caffeine in
chocolate. I saw "The Hidden Blade" which was really a bit dull, even
the shooting style and colours were dull. Some directors can get away
with long silences or mundane actions..... this one cannot. I also
saw "A History of Violence" which was really very good, Mr Cronenberg
at his best? maybe! It was funny well written, dark, and the fighting
was well choreographed. The Violence when it did come (which wasn't
too often) was right but graphic. There were two sex scenes which
worked well together, one was beautiful, tender and loving which
played excellently against the harsh brutal..... well, fucking! that
the only word that really sums it up, I don't tend to swear on my
blog very often but that is the perfect word to describe it. So one
poor film and one great film in one day, with a fine smattering of
buzz..... a good day methinks :) although saying that I am now
getting a bit of a come down off the Chocolate, damn you head ache.

If you want to get rid of the rest of the chocolate, chuck it this way. I'm a hardened eater ;-)

Steve says:

Nah I always get like that after to many sweet things if I don't eat something starchy.

Took a little while to sleep though.

Thanks OJ but I am sure that I can manage it..... you never know Helen might even help :)

Kostika, what a great desciption.

I'm not a big fan of sweets or chocolate, but I'd die for Green and Blacks.

I'm the same with the sugar thing steve. bread and butter is brilliant.

I have just come back from a conference where they were giving out little chunks of green and blacks for free all day. mmmmm.

I had to eat a cracker with butter last night to settle myself before bed, I was shaking and buzzing like a bastard!

Crackers are possibly the best butter delivery system ever invented, where as bread is a wonderous thing in it's own right.
