Mat, you do realise these pictures could be used as evidence? :)
Ooo... I found a great tea shop near my apartment a few weeks back. It was like an apothecary! I got these little balls of tea that open up into jasmine and flowery bits, so it looks like you've got a plant in your cup.
They looked surprisingly like cannibis resin, so I gave my pot-head nephew one for Christmas. How he laughed when he found out it was tea...
they look divine
*jealous
our tea stocks are currently at dangerously low levels

I was all out of white tea, hence trip to city. The snow bud stuff was £85/kilo. I bought 25g. :)
What I forgot to get was some Japanese green teas, and some African assam. To be honest, I had to stop myself before I spent a whole load of cash I didn't have. I could spend days in that shop... Shame their website is so lame
Don't suppose you can recommend me a good-and-affordable (if that's possible) tea place around London...
Lazy I know, but you guys are sorted
When I visit Britain, I promise to bring "Japanese green teas" from Japan.
:)
wonderful Kozika San! Please save a little for me...
I read that good green tea does not travel well. Do you know if this is true?
Sorry....Dhamaka San.
Please teach me the meaning of an English phrase.
does not travel well??
Is this phrases the meaning "to which the customhouse of an airport is not permitted"?
Sorry Kozika san for not making myself clear. Please do not worry about Customs, I am sure they will not mind if you carry tea.
It is said that some things change when they travel. For example I have been told that really good Guinness can only be found where it is made in Ireland because it changes a little when it is transported. I read that low grade Japanese Green Tea travels well (that means it stays the same and does not get worse) but that the better grades loose some of their flavour.
I have no idea if this is true or not and also I read it about 20 years ago so maybe things are different now anyway.

Thank you for teaching the very precious talk again. Dhamaka San.
xx
Yes,
Low grade Japanese Green Tea travels well.
And, Yes.
the better grades loose some of their flavour.
I will bring a high-grade Japanese green tea and low grade Japanese green tea.
?500 yen/100g - 3000 yen/100g?
I had a great Pint of Guinness in Tokyo :)
*grins* I'm just repeating what I've been told - I don't drink so wouldn't know - but it occurs to me that maybe the company would have had something to do with it ;)
It's a pleasure Kozika San - wow! What a big difference in price!!
You are most definitely right there :)
:)
Hmmmm?? They look smokable! LMAO! only jokes!
I thought the bottom picture was bees. BEES! AAAAARGH! BEES! *Runs away, flapping hands in the air*
