this is exactly the same for me, I live in one of 6 parallel streets, all called pasture "something", grove, terrace, cresent etc...seems to be a Leeds thing, there are quite a few areas like that in my part of town.

lol, is that for real then? Would be funnier if it was sidney or rodney. Perhaps Trevor.

chris says:

yup - same where i'm moving. lots of 'hawthorn's...

Joe says:

it does make it easier to find a certain part of town, the bit i live in is known as the pastures, chris is moving to the hawthorns, there is a methleys, a norfolks etc....confusing if you're new and looking for a specific street though.

Trevor Lane has got a certain ring to it!

Wherever I've moved to there seems to be a Graham Road.

magicpete says:

We have a Trevor Road and a Rodney Road near us. Most of them seem to be named using mens names, but we don't have any of the "the Barneys" or nowt.

it's how they did down that end.. the harolds.. the hessles.. the chestnuts. it does make it pretty easy to establish where someone lives though.
