Unfortunately at the moment it's by invite only...Tripwire was kind enough to send me an invite....
Hah! G-marketing-mail. Yahoo just gave me 2 gig... and no adverts!! Bwahahahah!
Me too to be honest, I've been a yahoo user since yahoo mail was set up...I just wanted a gig of email storage so I could dump files there and not worry about backups....I still believe yahoo is the best service by a long way
Gmail's wicked.
I've got some invites but I'm not as nice as tripwire : )
I'm doing a little swapsies competition on my hype group, user experience. Join in!
Gmail's OK. It doesn't work in Safari on my Mac, which is just lame on their part. It's super Javascripty, but it could easily be degradable to non-js browsers, they're just being lazy.
I'm going to see how it pans out over time before I commit (or not) to it.
I pay to avoid gazillions of adverts.... One of the reasons I subscribe here!
Didn't know that mat, pure lazyness...though it is admittedly still in beta.
The ads are annoying parky, and i'm not averse to subscribing to a service that I feel is worth the money (thus I also subscribe here.)
maybe I'm just weird but 100meg or 1gig storage with adverts is good enough for me
having a bot trawl my mail and post text ads doesn't worry me. if it's important I'd never commit it to a medium that passes everything around in plain text anyway ;)
hehe. yay. :) bringing others down with me with gmail!
i don't mind the ads because i don't click them. yahoo gives ads too, they just don't target. either way you get ads.
i don't care about the crawling of emails - i don't email anything worth worrying about. i don't use it for ecommerce or anything that is sensitive like that.
i like gmail. :)
