Been experimenting with slow shutter speeds today. I bluejacked this one
to someone on the way home, I hope they liked it!

I reckon anyone bluejacqued with anything will be at the least curious and somehow chuffed, I know Ive been when its happened to me. But hey, maybe thats just me. I know Tabby is really against bluejacking, privacy and all that.

But they have to accept the file don't they? So there's always that last line of defence.

Tabby does have a valid point though. I suspect that moblogUK will have to take part in many discussions about privacy in the not too distant future.

hmm I'm split on this one, I love the idea of bluejacking, and I do partake regularly...nay at any given opportunity...nobody has ever bluejacked me though...so I don't know how I would feel, I suspect (depending on the contents of the message!) that I'd quite like it...however it is somewhat spam like...which worries me if it gets out of hand...I wouldn't want to be getting 3000 file requests every time I turn bluetooth on...

Agreed. That would suck. It would only take someone to set up an automated delivery system to push adverts at any bluetooth device that passes through it's field.

Hey, that's a pretty good idea, anyone wanna help me write out the business proposal?

Joke.

Its already being done mate, a bluetooth hub with a 100m radius. For club use, Top Shop, you name it. but remeber how it was the scare of a couple of years ago that shops like that would scout out locally centred mobvile numbers and sms spam? Never really happened, and with the low take up of bluetooth use, and the fact that most peopple have it shut off, its never reaaaly going to happen either I think.

You could probably guess :)

It runs from where I live - Wolverhampton - to where I work - Birmingham.
