There aren't many raccoons in Leeds, AFAIK :)
I think raccoons are more of a north American thing. There's loads of the little bastards round here too. Could be a particularly devious badger?

My observations could be (and probably are) totally wrong. I did see my first ever raccoon (and skunk, killer whale, and bear) over here though. I'm glad my facade of sanity is working nicely ;o)
