I make things on the web, mobile and in the actual world.
I've done lots of bits and bobs over the years, and right now I'm mostly working on this.
I enjoy speaking about things I like, most recently this. You can email me if you'd like, and I'm on twitter.
In fact, oddly enough, I'm wearing the same clothes today I did when I was drunk in Bath.
I've washed them since, obviously.
ive been drunk in bath i think it was when i went to watch a rugby match some time ago
one should wear a life preserver at all times whilst drunk and bathing..
Seaneeboy - i read that as "In fact, oddly enough, I'm wearing the same clothes today I did when I was drunk in Beth" that would have been weird.
Sorry Alfie, I've just see the phonesnap terms and conditions? They basically own everything, royalty free, for now and forever :( This is nowhere up front. Rightly or wrongly I'd assumed that similar copyright rules would apply as for Moblog posts. Maybe I'm being naive, but this is not exactly in keeping with the Moblog ethos of creative commons.
Euphro, I read those too - this is a bit iffy overall so Ill have a think about it.
Mmmmm... Cooling towers... There's one by me... I can see it sometimes while driving around. It seems so far away, although it's right across the Delaware River.
Looks liek Didcot to me. which would be on the way to Bath. In it's defence, the stuff coming out of the cooling towers is just steam. They burn coal to heat water to make steam which runs the turbines to make power but they can't put hot water back in the river so they drip it over lots of wooden slats to cool it before it goes back in (hence the name). This geek moment brought to you by a project at school where we had to find a way of knowing when the towers needed cleaning based on performance! So, not as much pollution as you might think. The only actual smoke comes out of the tall skinny tower but that is mostly clean too as they take most of the smoke particles out to make breeze blocks!
And next door to that one (Didcot A) is Didcot B which is gas fired and better for the environment apparently!
(Went to school in Didcot, that tower could be the one I've been inside!)
