I am married to Spiderbaby and live in Banbury, Oxfordshire after eight years living in the USA and Sweden. I am working and training as a clinical scientist for the NHS in Oxford.

There are now over ten years of photographs on my blog! It all started with a photograph I took on the 1st of May 2004... It's been a wonderful journey, thank you all who have shared it with me, and made this blogging community one I keep coming back to!

Interesting things I read recently:

"Only one in five people born [in the UK] since 1975 believes in God".
Source: Prof David Voas, University of Essex

"For every dollar invested in the Human Genome project, $141 was returned to the US economy". Francis Collins, NIH
Source: New Scientist 27 July 2013.

I am Pavlovs_dog on PSN and would be happy to link up with Playstation-owning mobloggers : )

Too Much Information: The first album I ever bought was the Fraggle Rock soundtrack. Pretty cool, eh? I was only 16 : )

FilbertFox says:

i didn't say she didn't look lovely - she always does - but in this shot she has the look of her mummy, which is unusual cos i think she looks like her dad - who also always looks lovely!

BTW its snowing again!!

crickson says:

Yeah, but I think a lot of women tend to look like their dads more than their mums.

FilbertFox says:

you reckon? In my family 4 generations of women look the same - ugly brutes that we are.

Great photo of Ann!

Yes, we will be arriving tired and irritable after a long flight at 14:40 on the 14th of July. Tor and I will have argued about something and I'll be hungry because i find airline food inedible.

You'll get your life back at 15:55 on the 23rd of July.

aheheh. gnomify!

Fantastic! I'll write down the dates in my infallable filing system

*scribbles dates on back of hand*

Which airline are you going with? You'll be considerably more irratable if you come off a MyTravel flight because they're poo. Andrea and John arrive on the 22nd, so I won't get my life back until they leave on 9th of August. Then a week later my mum arrives. It's gonna be a stressful summer!

We'll have the pleasure of MyTravel on the way back. It's Thomas Cook on the way there, so it has a nice link to Leicester, the Rare Aquatic Badgers previous habitat.

14th Mar 2006, 18:46

True :o) Thomas Cook has been pretty good the last 3 times I've flown with them. Extra seat pitch for us lanky folk, your own TV screen, ok(ish) food. MyTravel was rubbish though. Still it just means you'll be grumpy when you get back, not while you're here!!!

a grumpy Crickson? Never seen such a thing, neither could i imagine it......
