Twiglet says:

They're probably making sure that each partner is making the decision of their own free will without influence. Do let us know when you find out.

OJ says:

That's exactly what they were doing Twiglet. They do it with marriages too, so it's an equal opportunities grilling.

We have now given our notice officially - there was never any real chance of me forgetting her middle name and being chucked out as a fraud!

Gael says:

I had absolutely no idea that they gave people a grilling.
Best wishes ...

27th Mar 2006, 10:06

OJ says:

It's not really a terrible grilling Gael - they're just checking you are who you say you are and that you know each other etc.

Thanks Viv. The date's all set and I'm currently resisting the urge to frock-search-blog, just incase I spoil the effect on the day.... ;-)

OJ says:

Ooh cheers Joe. Advice from seasoned big day planners appreciated. I'm currently wandering around muttering "we're not doing 'favours'"....

3rd Apr 2006, 13:45

Joe says:

heh, the best advice I can offer is, do it your way...forget convention and do what feels right...the most important thing is that you enjoy it, the guests come second...

3rd Apr 2006, 14:23

OJ says:

I think we can consider convention pretty much dispensed with.... thanks for the advice. :-)
