yeah, the light pierced through the trees and blinded me. I then spent 15 minutes trying to get my camera in the exact same spot to get the flare. I thought the first one was kinda spooky, but it was so bright it bleached out all the trees.
Swamp> nah, it's not been too bad. We had a pretty damp weekend (so I had to postpone my Whistler trip), but it was pretty good last week.
What caused the blue light in the second picture? I took a similar picture a while back, but did not know what the blue light was from.
