Got given this lovely tea last week. It's fermented in a mandarin to
give it a slight citrusy taste.

I suppose you have to resort to such things when you can't get a good box of Clipper or PG!

Does look damn funky, but does it taste as good as a bog standard cuppa?

hehe... should have been more concise and said "mandarin orange" to avoid confusion between that and an Chinese imperial bureaocrat, the most common dialect in mainland China, or the supervillian in the Iron Man comics.

Pianist> it's is gorgeous. Plus you hardly need any to make a good cuppa; will hopefully last me a while yet.

Walkley> I know what you mean... the standard tea here is horrible. I like green teas though, and they're meant to be quite good for you.

There's no way customs are going to let a mouldy Chinese orange into the country. It could be carrying the fruit equvalent of foot-and-mouth or worse.
