The first shot is the view from the Millennium Bridge, and might help
to put the new BBC building into some sort of perspective. It really is just a bit glass brick.The armadillo-shaped building is the Clyde Auditorum, more commonly known as The Armadillo, and the archway of the new Squinty Bridge can be sen in the foreground. Don't let it be said that Glaswegians don't call a spade a spade.

Also: the Waverley, which is now berthed beside the Science Centre, because the new squinty bridge is too low to let it pass. It's the world's last sea-going paddle steamer, don't you know.

aw man. i haven't been to glasgow since 1995 when i left there. i so want to go back and see how much it's changed!
