This is the 8th time I've begun this shawl. I'm running lifelines this time.
And counting my stitches every row to make sure I'm increasing properly.
And.... And I'm keeping my fingers crossed.--

eeek! tiny needles. (anything smaller than a 13 is tiny to this impatinet knitter)
Very nice yarn, did you spin it?

I didn't spin this yarn -- I'm not that good at laceweight yet. *grin* They are size six needles. It's funny, after all of my sock knitting on size threes and twos and even ones!!!!! the size sixes seem huge!

The yarn is actually Knit Picks Alpaca Cloud in Iris, and is mad cheap compared to most other lace yarns. And so deliciously soft!

I like that you said "yet" .
This pattern looks complicated as all get out. Good luck with it, I can't wait to see the completed shawl, it's going to be lovely.

When you're done, would you care to complete the damned scarf I've been knitting for the last 2 and a half years?! I have a very short attention span....

Elph -- I'm PRACTICING! *grin* We'll see if I ever get there. I can't wait to see the completed shawl, toooooo. It'll be the first thing I've ever made just for ME. Thank you.

Kitten -- *laugh* There needs to be a service you can send half-completed knitting to so that someone can finish it for you. Someone needs to start that company!
