They were just beautiful flowers. What was the book Gael? I'm imagining something decadent.

Big day plans are coming along okay thanks. Funnily enough I've reached the flower planning stage...

Paperback copy of The PowerBook, by Jeanette Winterson.
'Decadent' would be one word for it!
as would lush ... basically a red-head 'reclining' on a bed of parrot tulips exactly the same shades as these photos : )
It's also a great book

also meant to say, re the wedding plans, make sure you get the day you want, not what you think family/friends want.I guess your partner is allowed a bit of input, here and there, on the small things:)
We did the trad bit in the morning, but by mid-afternoon we were playing crazy golf at the seaside!
And try and take time to smell the roses (or the tulips) on the day itself.

Good advice Gael. Luckily our families don't seem to mind what we do and are just turning up to take part.

Am not telling V (spouse to be) about your crazy golf though. She luuurves crazy golf and might just call the whole thing off to go and play. :-)
