Its really, really good. I also play Battlefield 2 and have to say that compared to BF2 this has everything ELSE you'd need. The support for CoH is supreme, the Devs get back to you very quickly and are more helpful than on any other game I've played. The community is almost on a par with Moblog (almost), with familiar people making regular appearances both in game and on the forums. People in game are 80% helpful and 20% new, so it works very well. There are completely separate player versus player areas you can go to and fight people who are playing City of Villains, there are area events with some degree of frequency and I currently have about 7 characters (CoH and CoV) that I use - concentrating on one. All the superpowers are there to pick from and the leveling is quicker than a lot of other mmorpgs, so you get new powers quickly too (every couple of lvls or so). There are two English speaking servers (Defiant being the best ;P ), a French one (where I have just made a character) and a German. But you get all sorts on the servers. Like using Moblog, I have chatted with people from Sweden, Norway, Germany and Spain - I'm just one of those chatty types!
Team up with up to 8 other people and head off on a mission you're having trouble with and later on get invited to a Supergroup - which comes with a contact list of other users and a Super Group base...or why not form your own Super Group?
I'm going on already and I haven't even told you how much fun it is! Especially when you get to lvl 14 and choose your first Travel Power - Super Speed, Super Jump, Teleportation or Flight....

Looks suitably mental - yay - you tell folks there are 3 dancing Chucks and they just won't believe you.
