Ravens are *much* bigger than crows (up to 1.5M wingspan), and they don't really turn up around here - more in the west of the UK. Although this is a pretty big crow, even by crow standards.

Rooks look just like crows, but have grey bills, Jackdaws are smaller and have grey patches.

Or so I read on the RSPB page about the corvidae family.
