This is my personal blog, not a venue for saleable images. In fact, because it's here that I share things that are important to me with the members of the moblog community, photo quality's not my priority. Events, occasions, achievements, thoughts, trips and experiments - you'll find them all here. And remember that all photos remain my copyright unless I've specifically said otherwise.

3 are leaving on Friday :-(

silar31 says:

That 4th one is so cute - little guy has discovered how to do the Butt Dance Of Intimidation :-). I'm sure you've found wonderful homes for them, but it's hard to see them go.

16th May 2006, 17:03

i love the climbing one!

16th May 2006, 17:04

paintist says:

i'm sorry...i would find that a very emotional time...even knowing that they are going to good homes.........

16th May 2006, 17:11

Dhamaka says:

Silar - they're not steady enough on their feet for the dance you mention, but they're great at arching backs, pouncing and falling over (not necessarily in that order)

bmal - so do I, but nearly every time I tried to take a photo the little sweetie would put the climbing post between himself and the camera

16th May 2006, 17:12

Dhamaka says:

I'm worried for Misha, she's such an attentive mother..

16th May 2006, 17:13

how many in total are there? could you not keep one? and let misha attend to that one!

16th May 2006, 17:14

Dhamaka says:

bmal, there are 5.

Mum is planning on keeping one, but one of the potential owners has dropped out (again) so we need to find a home for the other.

I'll be taking them (and Misha) whenever the folks go away, but it wouldn't be responsible for me to have one living at my place all the time because I'm out of the country so much

(edit) but if just one goes missing at the moment, Misha will go looking for it..

16th May 2006, 17:17

poor misha shes not going to be a happy cat. :(

16th May 2006, 17:19

Dhamaka says:

no :(

16th May 2006, 17:19

silar31 says:

It's good that your mum is keeping one though, I think it would be a lot harder on Misha if they all left for new homes.

16th May 2006, 17:26

nige says:

i love shot 2. *sticks tongue out*

16th May 2006, 18:26

FilbertFox says:

yep pic 2 is lovely. Can kitties blow raspberries?

16th May 2006, 21:41

JokerXL says:

Aw poor mum-cat, she'll be wandering about the house looking for them, they do that.
Really sad, but gotta be done.

16th May 2006, 21:50

daz says:

Markus can't wait to meet the remaining kittens. :)

16th May 2006, 21:52

Dhamaka says:

nige, hold that pose while I get my phone cam
thanks FF
thanks to you to Joker, I really needed to hear that - NOT
Daz - I can't wait to show you guys!

17th May 2006, 01:05

Dhamaka says:

Thank you Mandy!
Will try with the closure-blog, but I think a better one might be Daz & friend with two remaining kittens and Misha on Sunday..

puddlepuff says:

Is this one:

This one?

He likes his tonque a lot :)

Cute pics!

17th May 2006, 08:57

Dhamaka says:

yes PP - you can tell becase he's the one with slightly crossed eyes.

but he doesn't particularly like his toungue, I just took the photos after they ate (both times)

17th May 2006, 10:01

puddlepuff says:

He's hella funny.

17th May 2006, 10:20

Dhamaka says:

he's actually *the* alpha male. Won't play with the others and swears and hisses if you take his toys away

17th May 2006, 10:29

puddlepuff says:

HeHe, he acts like me then :)

17th May 2006, 10:38

in the second one that nige put up is that misha attacking the cammera.

does the cross eyed ness mean he has bad eyesight?

17th May 2006, 10:38

Dhamaka says:

erm... if you mean the second one above, it was PuddlePuff.

No bmal - all the kittens are absolutely fascinated by the camera, if I stay there for long enough they stalk it, then come right up and start batting it with their paws

17th May 2006, 10:44

yes i did mean puddle ouf dam it!

my cat hates the camera and hides from it!

17th May 2006, 10:47

kostika says:

come right up and start batting it with their paws

Charlie does this after he finishes posing.

17th May 2006, 15:08

Dhamaka says:

that's interesting kostika - maybe we're training new habits into our cats without even realising it!

17th May 2006, 17:59

yourhermione says:

I was gonna say about the tongue thing. *hee*
So good that I'm this far away or I'd really want one.

17th May 2006, 19:08

Dhamaka says:

I wish you lived closer yourH. It would be great to meet you and there is still one poor sweetie without a home....

17th May 2006, 19:34

yourhermione says:

I would like to meet you too! Hopefully I can get over there once I'm healthy (and not broke) again.

I'm sure that my Maxcat would love a kitten to drag around and play with. He's such a goofball.

17th May 2006, 20:48

kostika says:

I've been pointing a camera in his direction since he first came to live with us. He poses then attacks.

17th May 2006, 22:51

Dhamaka says:

you're always welcome YourH

Kostika - see, we are training them without even knowing it - that's exactly what happens with Misha's lot!

17th May 2006, 23:02

kostika says:

Hmmm...could be then. But we've got some great pictures to show for it.

17th May 2006, 23:50

Dhamaka says:

indeed we do :)
