This camera was brought back from Japan by my dad in 1969 - it is a
Petri V6 manual SLR. I've brought it home to see what I can make of it
- it's been sitting in the closet for 30 some-odd years back at home.
I've already found online the manual for it, and the manual for the CDs
exposure meter.

We do too - we also have a couple of really old Polaroids, but finding the film cartridges for them is getting very difficult - you have to order them online, and they are quite expensive - the only reason they are still made is because some DMVs and other ID-photo type places use them. So they price them as high as they can get away with. This lovely old girl takes regular 35mm film.

I have a Petri Flex V, which is almost the same camera, and it takes outstanding shots, is extremely reliable and has the added feature of being strong enough to pound in nails, use it and enjoy it, it's a classic.

Wow. Just pulled my Petri Flex V out of the closet. My parents brought it back from Japan in 1962. I many years ago, and got some of the best pictures from it. Might sell it, but then, maybe not.
