Welcome to the official Moblog for Maximo Park - the Maximoblog.

This is where the band post photos of whatever takes their fancy that they think might be of interest to the wider public, from the mundane (backstage) to the spectacular (Archis' hair).

But they are not the only ones, as this Maximoblog is open to you!

Anyone who wants to send in a photo, whatever they feel relevant, we would love to see. The more the merrier, the more creative the better.

The result of a combination of post exam free time (not boredom, no...I'm glad the revision's over and summer can start, I just don't know what to do with it yet!) and that fabulous photo posted by anon from the gig in Strasbourg. The expression was a challenge and I ought to have been more careful with the text on his t-shirt, but, well...apologies for inflicting my scribblings on you, I didn't know where else to post it. Well done. I always get cold feet half way through any even slightly realistic pic of the great man, so I'm impressed by anyone who can draw him. Like the use of b/w with colour too.

Thanks for the comments everyone, I really appreciate them. Anon, maybe I exaggerated it a bit but to be fair he does have a wonky face! (in the best possible sense of course)

anon says:

I've not noticed he has a wonky face-it's always looked very symmetrical to my eyes.

Josie says:

Hate to descend into personal abuse but maybe you have wonky eyes...? ;)

No, I'm sorry. I'm just being defensive about my drawing. You're quite right, really.

anon says:

Maybe you have wonky eyes?Let's put it this way -would you feel thrilled and elated if someone told you that you had wonky eyes?
Abuse aborted.

Josie says:

I wouldn't object. It's the imperfections that make things interesting. But I have never seen your eyes so it was an unfair accusation. Abuse retracted.

anon says:

My eyes are beautiful, abuse retraction accepted.
