'twas gorgeous. I didn't bring the Ixus, for fear of pickpockets, and
I kind of regret it now. Oh well. At least that meant that I could
enjoy the moment by not documenting it, right? ;)

It's called Johannisnacht here, and there are usually big bonfires. Mainz has a big funfair on the weekend of/after solstice, apparently. :)
