The Great Angry Rake Mystery, 2004

I went out into the yard today to do a little gardening. Imagine my surprise when I found that someone had pitched this rake over my fence into my yard, where it was resting on top of one of my flower beds. What
the hell?

And it's not just any rake, mind you. It's a creepy, rusty, angry rake. The angriest of all of rakes. Look how jaggy its teeth are. It's actually seething. Watch it seethe. It's all seethy.

Sadly, my rusty bird garden statues seem to have recognized it as one of their own and even perked up a bit when I put it near them. Now they are friends. Rusty, creepy friends.

Hell, I don't think I've seen anything seeth so much in my life...maybe it made it's own way into your garden?...just to sit there seething.

It is a beautiful yard.
There is a rake made from the bamboo in Japan.

That's pretty damned funny....speaking of rakes. The other day I did the classic slapstick step on a rake, handle hits head thing....that wasn't so funny.

Nope, no impending doom over here...

Nope...

Is there?

Hmmm...

Nope.

In some cutures, a rusty, seething rake over the fence is a sign of wisdom and happiness. Unless it teams up with rusty birds. :o
