I love Murakami. So much. I'm currently reading Flann O' Briens the Third Policeman which is like an early 60's home counties Murakami placebo; I can't wait to get into this.

For anyone who wants to pick this up, Waterstones are offering £4 off the hardback cover price of £16.99

someone else to add to my 'to read' list, though at the moment I am buying books rather than reading them, Where should I start, Wind up bird chronicles?

The Wind Up Bird Chronicles is ace, I'd definitely reccomend it. If you like Murakami, which I do, see also Xiaolu Guo's wonderful Village of Stone.

Gael - it feels good to have a partner in crime! My problem is now that I have about 10 books next to my bed that I've started semi-reading...and never know which to pick up first. A Murakami is there too...argh!!
