Lots of very late nights recently pushing to finish a book chapter for tomorrow. Nearly there :-)

Dhamaka says:

sorry Euphro
I've come home from a party to finish something for a deadline - but only because I had too much time off in the last few days

When you are done and have some time to come up for air I have a science/parenting question for you :)

PS- been loving all the posts with Euphro Jr. recently (ok well her hand at least)

Euphro says:

I'm pleased to report that I made the deadline, yesterday :)

98 pages, 19,000 words and 570 bibliographic references. It was like writing a small thesis, phew!

Dhamaka says:

wtg Euphro. Can you say what it's about?

I got my deadline done too. And then got the magazine out. Finally. And then promptly found all the files I lost that while ago. Now we're in production and there's loads of reviewing and rewriting to fit into Trims stuff. Trim is great but I hate this stage..

Euphro says:

Well done you! :D

Yes, I can. It's a review of climate over the past 600 million years and how astronomical and geological and biological processes have driven and interacted with that. It's for a book that will be out next year called "Deep time perspectives on climate change". My chapter, I hope, will act as a primer and set the scene for the rest of the book (which has 30 other authors) :)

btw, i am in favour of the stubble, i think most men are improved by stubble, it either hides their ugly faces or enhances their good looks. You decide.....

12th Jul 2006, 15:20

Dhamaka NLI says:

disagrees with FF. The less hair on the head, the better for me...

12th Jul 2006, 15:42

Dhamaka NLI again says:
