This is my personal blog, not a venue for saleable images. In fact, because it's here that I share things that are important to me with the members of the moblog community, photo quality's not my priority. Events, occasions, achievements, thoughts, trips and experiments - you'll find them all here. Contact me for the development version of my photo portfolio, for a selection of saleable images or visit my dance photography blog or my website for cuttings. And remember that all photos remain my copyright unless I've specifically said otherwise.

Here's hoping this is the first of many front covers for Kostika

Maggie, I get the odd evening and have even been known to take an entire day off! Seriously, I'd love a proper break - to do no work and have no laptop for at least a week, but I can't see it happening until after next May.

she loves her work really!
but some bits are better than others!
looks fabulous - was thinking what a good phot it was before I saw it was Kostika's - wow!

Dhamaka says:

Maggie - the last time I took a proper holiday was when I took 2 weeks in the Maldives and got hit by the tsunami and then stayed behind to help. It was over 18 months after that (actually just a short while ago) before I even started thinking that another 'proper' holiday might be a good idea.

Viv's right in a way, I do love my work. I also know I'm doing far too much at the moment, but to get where I want I don't see that I have a choice. If the path was easy, then everyone would take it!

Kostika is a brilliant dance photographer. Even though she's new to it some of her shots are better than many of the seasoned photohacks I've worked with. I hope that we'll be able to work together more in the future.
