Joe says:

blimey, I wonder if the insurance will cover that one?

swamprose says:

Isn't this an act of God? Like floods and lightning? does insurance cover that? The owner was from out of town, and he didn't show up until really late at night. I could hear him a block away.

SWMBO says the same Swaprose :)

Euphro says:

As long as they have comprehensive insurance they should be OK (that will cover any kind of damage to the vehicle, including explosions, tornadoes etc). The "act of God" clause mainly removes any liability from the owner of the tree (as long as they can demonstrate that it wasn't dead, or that there hadn't been a previous complaint about possible danger from falling limbs) :)

I just asked my neighbour and evidently the tree belongs to the city of Toronto and the city is liable. No wonder the ciy is planting little lollipop trees now.

Hello D. The front windshield was gone and the inside was full of leaves. It looked kind of nice. Have been meaning to tell you that I read 9tail Fox and loved it. Now onto all Grimwood's books. Thanks.

Reading Grimwood happily right now, no scifi suggestions at the moment. Also liking 'Timothy, notes of an abject Reptile' by by Verlyn Klinkenborg...will have to think..maybe you will find something entirely new and wonderful on the road. hope so.
