Well, they have a market - many dogs love sweet things and fruit, and you have tons of owners without enough sense to realize that 1) giving dogs anything with added white sugar is really bad for them and 2) they are just as happy with a bit of low-fat yogurt (frozen if it's very hot out is good) and a few slices of orange or clementine, a bit of melon, whatever, and a lot better off for it.
