I moved

Last week I moved into a warzone. The outside of the house led not a soul to believe what conflict lay inside. But alas no peace could be found and I had to move again lest I loose what
little of my sanity I have left.

My new place is small and bereft of furnishings, at the moment, but it's ~mine~. I am more relaxed now than I have been in over a week. Next week I hope to get my bed and, over the next month, the rest of the my furniture. Oh and I am settling into the new job slowly. Damn I'm tired.

My sympathies on the moving. I'm not a fan of moving myself, I've done too much of it. I hope the time until you're fully settled goes quickly, and you enjoy your new abode.

mac, I need to do a proper update, sorry I haven't...been really behind. The top 2 pics are from the place I fled, the rest of the pictures are of the permanent place.

we hit ikea for the first time this weekend, have you been? they're fairly reasonable. much better than create&barrel; or pottery barn, maybe not as good as target-like stores.
