I hope it meets with Factotums approval...I have made a mobile, using her leaves.... :-)
Outdoors in the sunshine? Of course, I approve, especially if it is an almost autumnal morning like it is here in Montreal, only 10 degrees C.
I knit these little leaves when I'm knitting and talking, when I'm knitting in public and when I'm avoiding finishing complicated knitting projects... Paintist's are linen, but lately I've also been making them out of flax the colour of grey weathered wood. I'd like to think that when I am an old old woman, I will be sitting out in the sun surrounded by a huge pile of raked up knitted leaves.
it does sound cosy doesnt it.....I think the idea of a story is a good one....do you fancy writing it Mandy :-)
In a pile of knitted leaves she sat,
The little old lady and her big black cat…
She dreamt of life and days gone by,
She smiled, she laughed, she let out a sigh …..
so much creativity around us....give it a go....another string to your bow...
i couldn't make out what it was from the thumbnail - they sure is nice
