This stands all year outside the Edward Day Gallery on Queen Street.It is called 'Into the Blue". My favourite time to see it is on a really snowy day.

Shayne told me he uses a paint that absorbs light, so the blue is amazing in real life. He also told me it costs a fortune. makes me happy, so it's got to be worth it : )

I dont really like this sculpture. It reminds me of dead trees, although where you live, tree probably do lose their leaves during part of the year

so right, Jigalong. Trees here are totally bare from November to May, so it doesn't mean dead at all. Interesting difference in perspective..
