Canada is a country of immigrants. Toronto is one of the most culturally diverse cities in North America. Not only can you go out to eat almost any cuisine, you can cook it yourself because the ingredients are for sale. Next stop, Little India.

I love the little flowers and the translucent blue bands around those onions, subtle details.
If you buy fruits in those spongey nets, save the nets for me. I have a use for them.

Really nice series. I love Chinatowns. It's always good for unfamiliar sights and smells. The one in Vancouver is massive, but there's a few too many crazies for my liking. I'm always asked at least twice whether I'd like to buy some painkillers/hard drugs :(

Nick says:

Are prickly number three Durian fruit? I heard about those, apparently they stink but taste delicious.

9th Sep 2006, 20:06

swamprose says:

Nick, I can't count. Prickly #3 is Durian. it smells awful, tastes great. But this time I bought lychees, the smaller reddish pricklies.

rab, you live in the hard drug centre of the country. must be hard sometimes.
