When good macros go bad...

Testing a new camera, sometimes the macro can be too damn sensitive.
This is a Digital Ixus 65. What did I ever do to you eh?

It makes me think of bruises. My skin tone is not that yellow or that dark - it's a lighting difference (the other is daylight). I wasn't fishing for compliments anyway, really! I am quite shocked by the power of this macro though - down to the faint glasses marks...

the macro on my phone is more powerful than the one on my mother's camera - even though I've not managed to take reasonable shots at or near its max yet. I love seeing the details that the macro brings up that I didn't see when I took the shot
