Monumental wrong turn

Driving back from Virginia I thought I was home free until I managed to get
lost for about the third time! Me and the dog ended up right in the middle
of Washington DC on a busy Saturday afternoon! Just look how close we were
to the Washington Monument (ah, but note the red light this time -- I was
stationary!) Not long after I took this though, an officer of the law
informed me it's illegal to use your cell phone whilst driving in the
district -- whoops!

Ah, DC, my favorite city in the world. If you're going to get lost in a city, that's the one to get lost in - a well-planned city is easy. Got lost in Boston one time on foot - ended up walking 6 miles out of my way and never did get where I planned - and I'm from Massachusetts!
