"And as you cross the circle line,
Well the ice wall creaks behind
You're a rabbit on the run.
And the silver splinters fly
In the corner of your eye,
Shining in the setting sun.
Well do you ever get the feeling
That the story's too damn real
And in the present tense.
Or that everbody's on the stage
And it seems like you're the only
Person sitting in the audience
Skating away, skating away, skating away
On the thin ice of the new day"

Thanks, Nige. :)
Thanks, W_W. Despite how it looks, Jones is always very gentle, especially with his guy. :)
that cat is in feline heaven...look at the expression on his face !! AWWWWWWWWWW :-)
Jones has adored Rick since he first clapped eyes on him, and we adopted Jones and Ophelia when they were 5 weeks old. :)
Lovely picture. I've had 3 black cats in my lifetime, all of which were adopted at just a few weeks old too.
Thanks. :) Black cats abound in our house. We are normally opposed to kits being separated from their mum at such an age; but we either took them or some one else would. The folks who were giving away the litter had never had a cat before. One evening, a storm hit and their garage door was open, and a very pregnant cat ducked in and took up residence. They decided to keep Maggie (stray mum), but didn't want the kittens, and started looking to adopt them out right away.
