Ed is my kind of person

Chapter 23 of my neighbourhood. Honest Ed's is a huge store on the nearest main street. For those of you in the UK, Ed bought the London's Old Vic and refurbished it, and later sold it. What no one sees or knows much about is the street next to the store, of houses made into studios. Those rented studios have provided a cheap place to work for the best of Canada's writers, painters, artists for years. The store might be tacky, but it pays the bills. Ed is now very old, and sick, and we miss him. And his wife, Anne is the best kind of woman.
