This shot shows the image blending effect quite clearly at the top, but
it generally seems to do a good job of stitching things together.

there is a certain amount of confusion with the verticals there, but then I'd hardly expect a tilt and shift lens in a cameraphone! It'smostly due to where I'm standing with the camera - for a proper shot, I should have been parallel to the wall all the way up. Which would have been tricky, unless I had something to hover on..

I'm really impressed with this feature from what I've seen...and I've always wondered how to get straight walls when I photograph buildings....looks like I need an SLR then :)...oh well any excuse.

Converging verticals are a bitch, basically. I tend towards thinking I'll just slap a wide-angle on and go crazy bending things about..

If you want to try a bit of traditional film photography, you don't need an expensive SLR - I use a FED4/5 rangefinder, which are cheap and readily available. They're BEAUTIFUL cameras, and unlike a modern SLR, you get to do everything (plus there's no fancy electronics to break or need batteries). For twenty quid or so, you can't really go wrong...
