Neatened up last week's thrown pot, and made a Gaudi-esqe finger pot.

Tried to make a taller triangular based twisted finger pot too, but it collapsed into a big mess.

Next week, glazing...

By the way, either the classes are good, you're naturally talented, or I'm just rubbish - but your creations are significantly better than my pottery attempts!

the pot with the twist is great...cant wait to see how your glazing goes....I have heard that some pots blow up in the kiln :-)

I wonder if you could somehow use the explosion to make a good pot. Perhaps trap some air pockets in the clay in strategic locations... Maybe that's for the advanced classes :)

Our course is running at Hills Road Sixth Form College in their art department.
