Think that many wires would make me tearful... No more Caterpillars for you, then?

Looks interesting, what do these trucks do?

farmboyphil says:

they're called wireline trucks and are designed for use in the desert (middle east) for the oil industry, once a hole has been bored they can lower a vareity of 'tools' down the shaft (25,000 ft in this case) for surveying etc but more importantly an explosive charge which cracks the rock below and hopefully allows the oil below to seep through upwards for extraction. (a lot more complicated than that obviously... I only build the truck)

In that case..

Want one!

Oooh, I've played with the data from those many, many times!

They make plots with wiggly lines. We like the wiggly lines.

Complicated Wiggly-drill stuff.

;-)

Geodyne says:

But Joker, you can turn wiggly lines into pretty colours if you know how.

And my job wouldn't be worth doing if I couldn't play with pretty colours all day...
