is it just me, or are the first and third shots the same?
regardless, superb pics - its difficult to work out the scale...
EDIT: i see now that they're very slightly different
OJ - yes, they're the holes that were punched in the pieces of metal from my earlier post. These are in the bin/bucket that sits underneath the machine, but they were catching my eye.
mf - The first and third pics are almost the same, the only difference (apart from my crouching ability) was that the first is done using macro, whilst the third was autofocus.
Euphro, Steve - Thanks guys :)
at first glance I thought they were slates, they reminded me of the mountains of waste slate surrounding Blaenau Ffestiniog, then when I read the comments I had to adjust my sense of scale, which made my head hurt and now I want to lie down, it's been a hard week!
To give a sense of scale, the two round slugs in the centre are roughly 8mm in diameter, and thanks :)
Oh and pb? you should employ that pipe some, that'll put you right ;)
JXL - The squares range from 1/2 inch ish up to about 35mm. There were some 2 and 3mm holes, but the slugs are buried under all this lot :)
Thanks Maggie :)
