i can't think of the last shot i took that i haven't tweaked at least a little. i certainly upped the contrast on this shot, but the colours are exactly how i remember them to be.

Your welcome here anytime ;)
Come in the summer when Bath fringe is on, weird 'n' wonderful sights to be seen.

nige says:

thanks dtrh. just had a look at some of your pics, and the fringe fest looks alot of fun. Si (in the cap) is a Bath resident, so we might all have to pay a visit to the fringe next summer :)

I was going to say exactly what Dhamaka said, that green and blue is preternatural..... is the guy levitating centre shot. What's he standing on??

9th Oct 2006, 14:18

nige says:

preternatural. love that word, and so rarely do i hear it used. very apt, OJ :)

and that floating guy is me! it's a raised platform where i had just tee'd off from, and judging where the other two are looking, i had hooked that thing hard left. the bushes again...

It is beautiful and there are some lovely villages and good pubs around - but I always had the feeling it was a bit too precious and lacked the RL touch so in many ways preferred Bristol (We lived on the Bath side of Bristol for 4 years - Beth was born there.

and you moved up to Yorkshire afterwards, V? how come?

10th Oct 2006, 23:46

Viv says:

moved for Alan's work - moved about a bit
Manchester- birthplace, Lincoln (college), Carlisle(2 rented) - loved it, Stoke (lived in Shropshire-ok - long way from sea![2]),Norwich (2)loved it, Bristol (2+caravan for 2 months)here (1)
Most places we rented first then bought
Helen was born in Norwich, Beth in Bristol.
I taught so was able to get work.
