I had no plans to sell it, especially since I do hope I'll be able to go
snowboarding this season, but renting is so much more practical. I'm selling it to trial the new Auction service from Mobmart that Ben has been working on. Check out the listing here:

:D - the thing is, I doubt I'm going to use it!! I have to get bindings and shit for it, plus a carry bag, and I only go snowboarding like once a year... Plus I'm only really like intermediate level, a hire board is fine for me! Plus I could use the cash.

i hear you, it's an expensive hobby, especially for only making one or two trips a year. damn shame though, that is a sweet board...

everyone thinks winter sports are so expensive but i got a bargain deal a coupla years back - went to andorra for a week, half board, learn to board package (that included hire of everything - board, boots, lift passes, brilliant lessons) including flights and transfers and a skidoo session. all for £400! All you have to do is save a little a month and you're away. ok, I admit, saving is such an easy work to say...
(ps love the design of your page!)

Hey jetblack, (thanks :D) - yeah, I normally go to Slovakia, to a little place called Donovaly
. It's *incredibly* cheap, 2 weeks, all in including flights and accomodation plus food! £450. No kidding.

there are definately deals to be had wherever you look. we went to Courchevel in Jan last year - full board with flights, and it was damn near ski-in, ski-out for £350. lift passes were about a ton. sweeeeet. i think we're going to Tignes next year, but we're looking into that at the mo'
