I am married to Spiderbaby and live in Banbury, Oxfordshire after eight years living in the USA and Sweden. I am working and training as a clinical scientist for the NHS in Oxford.

There are now over ten years of photographs on my blog! It all started with a photograph I took on the 1st of May 2004... It's been a wonderful journey, thank you all who have shared it with me, and made this blogging community one I keep coming back to!

Interesting things I read recently:

"Only one in five people born [in the UK] since 1975 believes in God".
Source: Prof David Voas, University of Essex

"For every dollar invested in the Human Genome project, $141 was returned to the US economy". Francis Collins, NIH
Source: New Scientist 27 July 2013.

I am Pavlovs_dog on PSN and would be happy to link up with Playstation-owning mobloggers : )

Too Much Information: The first album I ever bought was the Fraggle Rock soundtrack. Pretty cool, eh? I was only 16 : )

Thanks, but it was actually Spiderbaby's shot on my phone. She's too busy to post it!

And it was a really nice wedding, and even Crickson managed to enjoy himself...

Free booze helped quite a lot when it came to enjoying myself.

Geodyne says:

Poignant indeed.

The detritus of a fun day is oddly sad. Like the down after a high.

OJ says:

It's the remains of a wedding really isn't it, but your title sounds much sadder....

Looks like it was a sunny day too. :)

12th Oct 2006, 19:01

you beat me to it there OJ, a marriage takes a little longer than a wedding and there's less cake.

Spiderbaby says:

But it was a really nice wedding! Friends from university who are a really great couple. Cheer up everyone.

Gael NLI says:

I'm glad it was a nice day and I hope the couple concerned will b e very happy. Didn't mean to put a dampener on your pic, just wearing my cynical hat rather a lot at the mo. Sorry (and the bubble pics are lovely)

crickson says:

Ok, so my over-blown and contrived title isn't fooling anyone.

FilbertFox says:

great title and pic what a partnership you two are.

weddings are just an excuse for a party and marriage is just an excuse for a life. Don't mean that. i loves being married to the long suffering Mr.FF
