liverpool street at 19:24 last night.

there were about 5895079 people dancing, and loads more upstairs watching. i was listening to the egg's second album (on cassette) whilst wearing a beanie and bright blue earmuffs...

for 2 hours.

yes i was there...but you know this as i was dancing next to the long-legged blue ear muff wearer...if you'd told me the dressed code beforehand i would have brought my red ear muffs. I was mostly listening to the quantic soul orchestra. i was illprepared for 2 hours of dancing tho...my ipod is yet to be laced with all my greatest tunes...i even forgot to put train in the vain by the clash on it which was going to be my ultimate mobile clubbing tune.

I passed through it all. It made Liverpool Street a fun place to be and one of the nicest things about it was the smiles on people's faces when they saw all these people dancing.
I had at least half a dozen people ask me what was happening, then laughing and saying what a brilliant idea it was.
That in itself meant that people went home having taken the time to talk to someone instead of pushing through the crowd to get the train.

Well done to whoever had the idea. It was one of the weirdest, yet coolest things I've been lucky enough to witness :)
