"And as you cross the circle line,
Well the ice wall creaks behind
You're a rabbit on the run.
And the silver splinters fly
In the corner of your eye,
Shining in the setting sun.
Well do you ever get the feeling
That the story's too damn real
And in the present tense.
Or that everbody's on the stage
And it seems like you're the only
Person sitting in the audience

Skating away, skating away, skating away On the thin ice of the new day"

Thanks. :) This will be my first winter *with* a camera. Time for an attitude adjustment - I need to find it beautiful this time around.

Thanks, P. At least the weeds can be counted on to hang on with sheer stubborness. :)

Aw, thank you, D.

A little sad I think, ....really like that 4th shot ....

Caine says:

Thanks, Maggie. It is sad, at least for me. I've been here for over 15 years, and I still don't like winter! Snow in particular.

#4, my fave too.
Sad time, stuff all around retreating for the winter, But the winter has it's own charms too, I think. Pitty it's so darn long though!

Caine says:

That's it *exactly*, Joker - how long it bloody lasts. I'd be fine if it was only a couple of months long. ;)
