Now with added kitten.
Thank you. We met up with Viv, Beth, Helen and Steve briefly but all too briefly because it had started to rain heavily.

Just down loading mine but my camrea was playing up and batteries low so not expecting much - had the same 'Lowry-esque' thought!
I'm usually averse to bumping my own posts, but just to put this on the homepage for interested parties....
v interesting ...
I find these figures very disturbing - always have, though I am glad they are staying for a bit longer as other people obviously enjoy them
Disturbing in a good or a bad way? Or is that a silly question?
And hi Gael, was just thinking about you earlier (still reading Like) and vaguely ruminating about a themed post.
Hi! themed post? sounds intriguing too ...
BTW I won't be making it to York this weekend : (
Still in the vague thought stages...
I'm not going this weekend either - have a prior engagement.
Hello, a friend of mine who works in the cultural sector in Liverpool has just started an online petition to gather support for keeping Antony Gormley's Another Place in Crosby, Merseyside.
Here's the link if you'd like to support it or pass it on:

I've just been looking at the signatures Helen - some really interesting comments. This one says it all really (and no, I didn't write it).
"Another Place? No just Another eg of Toytown politics in action. Ambitious Tory Parliamentary candidate exploits opportunity to put herself on the agenda for election as a heavyweight, egged on by local party "luminaries",supported by the local paper to create a maelstrom of non-majority opposition. These people really need to be better skilled in the art of spin,if they want to achieve short term political gain at the expense of the wider community good."
