"I expect to pass through life but once. If therefore, there can be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not defer or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again." William Penn
euch!
Sadly it was v. filling, so now I don't have any room left for proper food, like cake or biscuits :-(
Oh no! Haw about Smarties? They're quite small but contain the major food groups of both chocolate and sugar.
I always keep bags of 'fun size' for such an occassion ..... there's always room for a little one ....
Spiderbaby, I thought everyone knew there are only 4 food groups - protein, fat, carbohydrate and chocolate cake..
I agree D, but there is new-fangled notion about something called 'greens', I believe is the term, being important too. Which is why Smarties are ideal as they contain most colours (although I miss the blue ones :( )
*concedes the importance of smarites
*mourns the passing of 'blue ones'
Lost interest in Smarties after the monkeyed around with the shape of the tube.
Bloomin' designers!!!!
i am with you on this Sproket, smarties tubes should be round.
When i lived in bedsit land i decorated the whole of my fireplace/surround with Smartie tubes.
Now being a proper grown up (and out) i can see that this was indeed a major fire hazard!
FF – personally I just liked with the old tubes, that when you finished them, you could give 'em a hearty squeeze and the end cap would shoot off and hit someone in the eye.
The new tubes are rubbish, that's a fair point. Tried one the other day (because I was missing them) and was very dissapointed that the Smarties don't roll out of the container in the same way (they get stuck on the silly opening) and they don't make that pleasing noise anymore of smarties rushing out of a proper cylindrical tube :( And there are no blue ones :( And there are more brown ones :( I never even noticed the brown ones before
yay smartie tube guns...stamp on the tube and the lids went for miles...personally I really disliked the blue ones, and the new tubes haven't even registered on my radar.....
Hurrah for us grown-ups. I'm sure Tom Wolfe or Douglas Copland has a snazzy term for us.
