Heh - who cares about chronology? Notice you've got him bathed & buffed for the vet - boy's got to make a good impression, afer all... ;)

He looks about half the size when his hair is all wet! Love the nose in the towel.

Er - dunno if you knew this, and please tell my to mind my own if you want - but you couldn't PAY me to use Hartz anything on my dogs. Their safety record is abysmal, and their testing practices are historically not anyone's idea of ethical. I use Lambert Kay oatmeal & baking soda shampoo for my crew, it's good for JennyB's itchies (she gets atopic dermatitis from allergies) and it leaves them smelling nice. Where Rusty has the long coat, if you feel he needs a conditioner to help brush him out, Aussie Slip (which is make for humans so you can get it at the grocery) is excellent for long-coated dogs, and you can even dilute it 1 part Slip to 6 or so parts water and just squirt it all through his feathers with a squirt bottle, rinse it lightly and then dry him and brush him out. Stuff works great! Learned that when I worked for a boarding kennels whose owners had English Cockers.

Hmmm - I had no idea about the Hartz brand. I just got it because that's the only one they have at my supermarket. I'll have a look at the oatmeal shampoo. That may be good for him because he's got sensitive skin too.
