I am a New York City Native.
I am a Design Professional.
I take photographs.
I also sculpt, paint, create mosaics, and play with weapons.

And sometimes, I even dance about Architecture.

I realize now I should have filled them with raspberry jam from the bottom edge. they'd look like they're severed, and would ooze red goo.

FF- They're just almond flavoured butter cookies. It's a really simple cookie recipe. All I did was refrigerate the dough, then once it was cold, sculpt (if you can call it that, it's not much of a sculpting task- I didn't take more than a few seconds on each one) the fingers, and press a whole, blanched almond into each one. Then monster came and painted on the red food colour, diluted with a little water.

If i had more time yesterday I'd have filled them with raspberry jam at the bottom to make them look severed.

Really these were so easy to make, I will do them again next year for sure. With the jam goo.

Also, I was out of cocoa powder at the time, but next year I can vary the "skin tone" by using cocoa powder in the dough.

These are superb!

So easy, Euphro, honestly. Way too simple for the results you get. It's a really basic butter cookie dough, with some almond flavouring. It's just you have to refrigerate it so it gets hard enough to work with like putty.
