Welcome to the world of a twenty something...
1. 6 hours is not a long time to wait in the remote depths of wales
2. consider yourself lucky you weren't "rescued" by North Wales Rescue (there's irony). Their first man took a hammer to the ignition cos he couldn't get the key to turn, thus immobilising my van completely for over a month. The second guy who had to relay us home got lost. twice. and we live in wales.
but he did stop in a field at midnight to let us dismantle our tent, so fair play.
Actually it took 6 hours for the RAC man to turn up which was a complete joke when they said he'd be there in an hour and a half.
Then it took another hour and a half for the recovery trucks to arrive.
And when you've been stuck without food, drink and a toliet for that amount of time it *is* a long time.
